More about us
FOXTAM CONTROLS BMS & HVAC SPECIFIC PRODUCTS Foxtam Controls will be exhibiting at Light + Intelligent Building Middle East 2025, products and solutions specific to the BMS & HVAC sector, many of which are proudly manufactured in the UK will include:- Current Proving Relays & Switches – covering current loads from 1mA to 200 Amps, available in both hard wired “connected in series” devices particular for the small load applications and “CT style” devices for larger load applications. Adjustable 0-10VDC Output BMS Power Supplies – designed specifically for “HAND / OFF / AUTO” applications for BMS controller inputs. When in “HAND” a DC voltage needs to be forced into BMS input cards, but not necessarily a full 10VDC signal is required. Available self-contained for mounting completely within a control panel, or available optionally with a remote potentiometer kit. Power Supplies – a full selection of power supplies in a variety of housing styles, covering outputs 10VDC, 12VDC, 24VDC, raging from 0.5 Amps to 20.8 Amps Control Panel Transformers – double wound isolating transformers with an inbuilt Earth screen, multi tap primary 0-230-400-415-440V and secondary 0-12-24VAC, available in VA sizes 30VA to 3200VA. Additionally Din rail mounted Modular transformers 230V / 24VAC in VA sizes 10VA to 75VA. Timers - a full portfolio of electronic timers with up to 4C/O contact outputs, multi voltage 12-250VACDC, multi function and multi time range, single function timers also available, including duty changeover timers. Mechanical Extension Timers – front panel mounted mechanical plant extension “override” timers, referred to also as “caretaker” timers, no supply voltage required, available in the popular 0-6hr time range. Plug in Relays & Sockets – 14 pin 4PCO relays rated 5 Amps and 8 pin DPCO relays rated 10 Amps, all complete with test, flag & LED indication. Miniature SPCO & DPCO interface relays, including low coil consumption SPCO BMS “10VDC” SRMV interface relays. 0-10VDC BMS Relays with an Auxiliary Supply – a range of four Din rail mounted fully enclosed 0-10VDC BMS modules providing a volt free digital output from a 0-10VDC BMS signal. On occasions with some BMS systems there is insufficient power in the 0-10VDC signals to drive a low coil consumption “SRMV” relay. These modules have a consumption of <0.5mA with regards to the 0-10VDC signal, the power to drive the output relay is taken from a separate 24VAC/DC auxiliary supply. Digital Panel Meters – available in both Din 48x24mm & 96x48mm front bezel size, with a wide variety of input signals including 0-10VDC, allowing meters to be scaled to other engineering values such as ‘C, %RH, Pa, PSI etc, etc. Meters are available as “display only”, or with additional relay outputs, analogue outputs, MODBUS. AC “CT” Style Current Transducers – available either as solid core or split core, in a range of primary currents, producing either a self powered 0-5VDC or 0-10VDC output. 24VDC loop powered 4-20mA output versions are also available. Current Transformers & Energy Metering – moulded case current transformers both solid core and split core along with Din 96mm front panel mounted and Din rail mounted KWh meters and multi parameter energy meters, with pulse outputs and optional MODBUS communications.
Our Products

AC TO ADJUSTABLE 0-10VDC OUTPUT BMS POWER SUPPLY - Y24A0-10D
A conveniently packaged Din rail mounted AC voltage to an adjustable 0-10VDC output module. Designed specifically for “HAND / OFF / AUTO” applications for BMS controller inputs, when in “HAND” a DC voltage needs to be forced into BMS input cards, but not necessarily a full 10VDC signal is required. This product can be specified with either a 24VAC, 24VDC, 110VAC or 230VAC primary voltage, the output voltage is an adjustable 0-10VDC via a front mounted potentiometer. A healthy AC input voltage is signalled by an illuminated green LED, and the output voltage is indicated by an increasing in intensity illuminated red LED starting at 1VDC (below 1VDC the output will be present, but without LED indication). Note this product is not designed to power “control circuits”, it is only for driving into BMS input cards, max 10mA @ 10VDC.

IN LINE CURRENT PROVING SWITCH - YRI-41
The YRI-41 is a direct connected current proving switch available in five different adjustable ranges, 1mA-100mA, 10mA-1A, 30mA-3A, 50mA-5A, 100mA-10A. External current transformers cannot be used with the YRI-41. The current is monitored on its own supply hence a separate auxiliary supply is not required.
Note, the monitored load and the supply voltage must be from the same source and of the same voltage potential, please note carefully the circuit diagram.
On connection of the supply/load the green LED illuminates, should the load exceed the adjustable set point the SPCO relay output will energise and the red LED will illuminate. Should the load then fall below the set level, less than a nominal 1% hysteresis the output relay will de-energise and the red LED will be extinguished.

“CT STYLE” CURRENT PROVING SWITCH - FOX.CS-020, FOX.CS-200
Compact Din rail or foot mounted “CT” style AC current proving switches, the sensing range (set point) being adjustable 0.2-20 Amps or 2-200 Amps. On current flowing of at least 0.2 Amps or 1 Amp the power LED will be illuminated, on current flowing in excess of the adjustable set point the status LED will be illuminated denoting the Normally Open output is closed. On current falling below the set point less a nominal 2% hysteresis the output will open and the status LED will extinguish and the power LED will illuminate, if the current has fallen to zero both the power and status LED’s will extinguish.
The FOX.CS-xxx current switch is self powered yet benefits from a volt free output Normally Open switch. The maximum switching capability is 30VAC/DC 0.5 Amps.
It is also possible for low current sensing, to pass the conductor to be measured multiple times through the CT (referred to as turns).

SLIM LINE DIN RAIL MODULAR MULTI VOLTAGE, MULTI TIME RANGE, MULTI FUNCTION TIMER - MINI-1M (spco)
a Din rail mounted modular style housing of 1 module width (18mm). The housing is of the same profile and design style as the Foxtam larger “UNI” modular range, thus achieving a cohesive family appearance. A selector switch is provided to select eight different time ranges from 0.1 sec to 10 days, fine time setting on a selected range is then achieved via a percentage potentiometer. A further selector is then used to select one of eight different functions. A green supply on LED is featured along with a red LED to indicate relay output status. All terminal details and the function selection information, along with the UKCA & CE mark is clearly marked on the sides of the housing.
On functions utilising the trigger input “S”, this input should preferably be clean. However, within reason small loads can be connected between “S” & “A2”, such as relay coils or indicator lights.

MECHANICAL PLANT EXTENSION "OVERRIDE" TIMERS - FOX.MET 6H
Mechanical plant extension timers, also known as “override timers” or “caretaker timers” within the BMS & HVAC industry. Totally mechanically driven by a clockwork spring, therefore no auxiliary supply is required. The moment the setting knob is turned pass zero to the set time required, the output contact switches, the timer will then start running back to zero. When zero is reached the output contact will switch back. If after the initial time has been set, it is required that the set time, or remaining set time needs to be lengthened, shortened or cancelled back to zero, the time setting knob can be turned without harming the mechanical mechanism. The timers benefit from a 16 Amp/250V AC1 changeover contact and is easily fitted to the front of a control panel via screw fixings, which are discretely hidden by the time setting knob. Four time range versions are available 0-15min, 0-60min, 0-6hrs, 0-12hrs.
