About us
We develop intelligent software and hardware components for building system technology. Our focus is on building networking based on the KNX standard. Because of this focus, with our products and solutions we cover the KNX system comprehensively. In addition, we offer gateways, as well as software solutions for other standards such as EnOcean, Modbus or DMX.
As a complete supplier, we advise you on the system design and provide on request the full development of hardware, firmware and application software to certification of your product with the KNX Association.
The core of our services are solutions for the integration of KNX devices. A wide range of KNX modules and KNX stacks also offers a cost-effective connection for your devices on KNX.
As a manufacturer of KNX devices, our focus is on the interface and gateway solutions, i.e. system devices with high complexity. We design and manufacture complete units under its own label Weinzierl – but also as OEM components under your brand.
The KNX standard is continually evolving. To actively support this process, we are a member of the KNX System Group (CSG) and take part in the KNX IP Task Force. Thus, we always offer our customers the latest information and trends.

KNX DMX Gateway 544
The KNX DMX Gateway 544 is a compact gateway between KNX and DMX512 with up to 64 freely configurable channels. DMX is a protocol for lighting control, especially in stage technology.
In master mode, the device allows convenient control of DMX lights, for example with KNX push-buttons. Up to 64 dimming channels or up to 8 RGB/RGBW channels are available. Several subsets of DMX512 addresses can be assigned to each channel. The dimming channels enable switching /rel./abs. Dimming of one or more DMX devices via KNX. The RGB/RGBW channels enable the control of RGB/RGBW capable DMX devices. Each RGB colour and each HSV attribute can be individually controlled via KNX. Each channel can be linked with up to 8 scenes. In addition, 4 sequencers are available in the gateway to carry out more complex tasks.
In slave mode KNX actuators can be controlled from DMX up to 64 DMX512 addresses

KNX Modbus RTU Gateway 886.1 secure
The KNX Modbus RTU Gateway 886.1 secure is a compact Gateway between KNX TP and Modbus RTU with 250 freely configurable channels.
The device enables easy integration of Modbus devices that support the RTU protocol via RS-485 and can act as a Modbus master or slave. As Master the device can address up to 25 slave devices.
The assignment between KNX objects and Modbus registers can be configured via parameters in the ETS without an additional tool.
Two buttons and three multi-colored LEDs on the front panel allow local operation (synchronisation functions) and visualization of the device status.
The gateway provides a galvanic isolation between KNX bus and Modbus.
Power is supplied via the KNX bus. The device supports KNX Security.
The KNX Modbus RTU Gateway 886.1 secure is supplied with power via the KNX bus and requires no additional auxiliary voltage.
The test requests are made directly via the gateway in the ETS, without the need for a USB RS-485 interface.

KNX ENO 626 secure
The KNX ENO 626 secure device serves as a bidirectional gateway between EnOcean wireless devices and the KNX bus. With this device, commands and measured values from EnOcean wireless sensors can be transmitted to the KNX bus, for example to control KNX actuators. EnOcean wireless actuators can also be controlled via KNX. The KNX ENO 626 secure from Weinzierl supports the encrypted radio communication with security-enabled EnOcean devices.
In addition, the gateway provides logic and control functions and includes a wireless repeater. The KNX ENO 626 secure now supports more than 100 profiles with its 8 radio channels, allowing the easy and secure connection of even more different EnOcean sensors and actuators KNX installations.
As the first KNX gateway in the market, the new KNX ENO 626 secure supports the encrypted radio communication with EnOcean devices. Commissioning is as simple as usual: with all 8 channels encryption can be activated individually.

Weinzierl blue IO seiries
The KNX Blue IO series from Weinzierl is now available and features a very compact design. The devices can be used for fixed installation in dry indoor areas or for installation in furniture or suspended ceilings.
The KNX TP Blue IO 550 CV secure
The KNX TP Blue IO 551 CC secure
The KNX RF Blue IO 552 CV secure (KNX RF S Mode only)
The KNX RF Blue IO 553 CC secure (KNX RF S Mode only)
The dimming actuators can be used e.g., for LED panels or stripes with RGB / RGBW / Tunable White configuration or used as 4 independent dimming channels. Each configuration allows controlling by switching telegrams, relative dimming and dimming value. Several convenience functions are also integrated, including scenes, snooze, staircase lighting and sequencer. Two pushbuttons and five LEDs enable local operation and visualization of the device status. In addition to the output channels, the devices have 16 independent functions for logic or time control. They supported all KNX data security.

KNX IP BAOS 774.1 secure
The KNX IP BAOS 774.1 secure is an universal interface for the KNX bus. BAOS is an abbreviation for “Bus Access and Object Server”. Communication with KNX is possible both at telegram level (KNXnet/IP tunnelling) and at data point level (KNX application layer). Clients can access communication objects directly with the BAOS protocol via TCP/IP.
The device is configured with the ETS and supports up to 1,000 communication objects. The main application of the KNX IP BAOS is the integration of non – KNX devices and applications into the KNX system. The KNX IP BAOS 774.1 secure enables the full integration of a device into the KNX system, including KNX Data Security and ETS support, without implementing a KNX stack in the device.
The generic ETS database entry provides a list of data points and parameters. It can be used for a quick integration and for development purposes. Customised ETS database entries can be created by the OEM partners.
The device supports KNX Security and BAOS Security.
