Oman’s Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology has floated a consultancy tender for the remaining works on Phase 1 of the Al-Batinah Coastal Highway.
Phase 1 of the project includes a 45km-stretch of the road, as well as a total of 68km of service roads.
The project will also include the completion of construction on dual-link roads extending across 9.5km that have been opened to traffic.
In addition to the remaining construction works on the roads leading to the A’Suwaiq Harbour, firms will have to prepare tender execution documents for the project, extending from the province of Barka to the Wudam Al Sahel area in the Al Musanaa province, and onwards to A’Suwaiq Harbour.
